Microsurgical Testicular Sperm Extraction

If a man has azoospermia or zero sperm and the chances of extracting sperm from the testicle through a biopsy (tissue sampling) are assessed to be very low, microtestis surgery is performed. During this open surgery, different parts of the testicle are examined to extract healthy sperm for fertilization with an egg or freezing for future pregnancies.

Steps before microneedling surgery

• Inform your doctor if you are taking anticoagulant medications such as aspirin, warfarin, ibuprofen, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
